With over 100,000 units operating worldwide, Yazaki is a leading supplier of non-CFC based space cooling. We are proud to announce the arrival of our newest chillers, the WFC-M100 and WFC-MB100. These water-fired chillers produce 100RT of cooling capacity when fed with 194 F hot water at rated conditions. The difference in the two units is that while the WFC-M100 drops the temperature of the heat medium 18 F, the WFC-MB100 increases the drop to 36 F. They are both ideal for larger waste heat applications, whether driven by a solar, microturbine, cogeneration, fuel cell, or other heat source. For an example of how these chillers help a customer utilize waste thermal energy to increase the efficiency of its combined heat and power (CHP) system, click here.
Can't decide which Yazaki water-fired chiller works best for you? We have created a new tool to help select the appropriate WFC model(s) to match your available heat medium temperature, flow rate, and total amount of available heat. It works in both English and metric systems. To explore your options with Yazaki chillers, click here. Once you've decided which size chiller works for you, you can download our Chart Reading Tool to see how the chiller operates at non-standard conditions by clicking here.
A Yazaki absorption chiller-heater, using water as the refrigerant, is today's best choice in air conditioning for protecting the environment and reducing the cost of energy. Capacities of 5 through 200 RT are available to either cool or heat installations such as schools, offices, hospitals, industrial facilities, and hotels.
Our founding president, Sadami Yazaki, created our distinctive arrowhead trademark back in 1951 to signify development and progress. The color red symbolizes our passion and spirit of unity. These traits are alive today at Yazaki Energy Systems, Inc.
